Mark Pollak

Senior Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer

Mark Pollak is Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Personal Care Products Council. Pollak first joined PCPC — then the Cosmetic, Toiletry, and Fragrance Association (CTFA) — in 1983 as Assistant to the President. A longtime member of the senior leadership team, Pollak’s unique knowledge and experience has been instrumental in helping to shape and refine the organization.

Pollak works closely with the CEO and senior staff to implement the association’s strategic plan, and works to maximize the association’s value and benefit to its member companies, with specific emphasis on PCPC meetings, webinars, publications and the Certificates of Free Sale program. He plays a leading role to ensure the success and growth of the Look Good Feel Better (LGFB) Foundation. His previous roles within the organization include Executive Vice President, Strategic Initiatives, Assistant Secretary, and Vice President, Member Relations.

Before joining PCPC, Pollak worked at the Merit Systems Protection Board, a federal agency responsible for adjudicating the Civil Service Reform Act, where he served as Executive Assistant to the Chairman. Pollak graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tufts University, with a B.A. in Political Science and earned a J.D. from American University Washington College of Law.
